Lympne Castle Wedding | St. Stephens Church, Lympne

As the weather was so perfect, I took a short walk along the seafront in the morning before joining Natasha getting ready with her Mum, Mother-in-Law to be and bridesmaids, at the Hythe Imperial Hotel in Kent. The weather really was fantastic for their lovely wedding at St. Stephens Church and Lympne Castle, with blue skies and a gentle sea breeze.

Having captured Natasha’s bridal preparations in full swing, I made my way to meet up with Andy and his Groomsmen at Lympne Castle. Driving with an ‘enhanced duty of care’ as their wedding rings were in our main camera case! My assistant, Heidi, had been up early searching the beach for ‘suitable’ shells which we could use for a ring shot – after all it’s not every day we’re at the seaside! Natasha had entrusted me with their rings for the journey (…we kept the shells for you guys!).

With shoes shined and cravats adjusted, Andy, Craig (his Best Man) and the other Groomsmen made the short walk from Castle to Church to await Natasha’s arrival.

The Service was delightful and Natasha looked absolutely stunning walking up the aisle of St. Stephens on Ray, her Fathers, arm. Special thanks to The Revd Nicholas Cooper, Priest-in-Charge of St. Stephens, Lympne, for allowing and helping us arrange the photography within his beautiful church.

After armfuls of confetti, drinks on the Castle terrace and congratulations from their family and friends, everyone sat to eat and enjoy good food and great speeches. Later in the evening, over coffee in the West Wing of Lympne Castle, silhouette artist Charles Burns joined them to ‘cut’ beautiful, perfect, freehand silhouettes of their friends and family. Amazing to watch!

Finally Natasha & Andy hit the dance floor for their first dance to The Bears playing a cover of The Lumineers “Ho Hey”, before unleashing some really fantastic music which even had us ‘throwing some shapes’ once we’d packed away, of course!
