Engagement Photography in Lacock

On a pretty spring day in May we met with Emma and John in the picturesque village of Lacock in Wiltshire, for their pre-wedding photo shoot. We enjoyed a delightful walk around the grounds of Lacock Abbey before visiting the main house – leaving us ready for a pint in the Red Lion afterwards. The cloisters of the National Trust property at Lacock Abbey were used for a number of scenes in the Harry Potter films. Though of more interest to us was the famous Oriel Window used in the first ever photographic negative. We couldn’t resist photographing Emma & John next to it (in black and white, of course!). Wedding Photography in Lacock is really exciting as there are just so many places to explore and opportunities for making images – and of course there is always the draw of the National Trust tea rooms! Not long to go until their wedding day!
