Cider Mills Barn Wedding Photographer
I was so excited to join Amy and Scott as their Cider Mills Barn wedding photographer! After their gorgeous, sun-drenched church wedding ceremony at St. James’ in Badsey, the newlyweds exited to a surprise ‘Rifle Arch’ secretly arranged by Amy’s Mum, in a nod to Amy’s passion and her parents own wedding! I loved the truly unique and beautiful service by the Rev Joanna Fielding! Honestly I see an awful lot of similarity in Church weddings, but on this occasion, Rev Joanna did an outstanding job! It was in part based around ‘The Wedding Feast at Cana’, by Paolo Veronese – I actually trained as a Painter (Fine Art degree back in the day), so was enthralled by this! I have to say it really added a unique connection to the couples ceremony, in a welcome switch-out from ‘1 Corinthians 13‘. And it was so kind of her to make the effort for them.
I jumped in my car to zoom off to Cider Mills Barns for their wedding reception… and wowzers, it was 33 degrees! Yes, you heard that correctly! Easily the hottest wedding I’m photographed this year. It was so hot and bright that we pushed their ‘couple photos’ back to 8pm, and I’m so pleased we did! Did I mention love absolutely lovely Eve and the team at Cider Mills are? This was a new venue for me and I loved it!
As the sun began to set, the light cast a gentle glow over the couple, and we were treated to a breathtaking sunset. It was a moment that truly captured the beauty and magic of the day. There’s so much more to come from this wonderful day – a couple of ‘teasers’ for now! I’d love to return to Warwickshire as a Cider Mills Barn wedding photographer, so hit me up if you’re tying the knot there! Rich xx
