Wedding at St. Bonaventure’s RC Church, Bristol

St. Bonaventure’s is one of our favourite churches we’ve shot in for wedding photography. Firstly it’s huge inside, with large stone columns flying up to the roof and masses of natural light pouring in from both sides. It’s also has a galleried area which is great form super wide angle shots of the wedding service – we’ve even used it to shoot formal wedding photographs from – looking down on the wedding party from above. This is great if the weather has let you down and you need to take formal photographs inside.

Outside St. Bonaventures it’s smart but not as spectacular as it is inside. A small grassed area next to the adjoining the Presbytery offers an opportunity for group photos of wedding guests.
