Vintage themed wedding photographs

To help out ‘brides to be’ who might be looking for a bit of vintage or retro wedding inspiration, we’ve put together a selection of photographs from some lovely weddings we’ve shot in and around the Bristol and Bath area. Throughout these beautiful weddings I’ve noticed a real mix of detail; from epic barn weddings to small village halls – summarised in pastel shades, local wild and dried flowers, beautiful DIY hand made details – including some fantastic wedding cakes! One of my favourite invitation cards which we received was made by Gary, the Groom, who is a graphic designer. The beautiful three fold invite had an old-world vintage theme which he then used on the orders of service in the church and during their village hall / barn dance reception. My favourite quirky vintage ‘wedding bar’ has to be the 1957 Citroen van which has been renamed the ‘Cider Pig‘. I thought it looked such great fun I couldn’t resist giving it it’s own Cider Pig page!

The most amazing ‘vintage harvest supper’ inspired wedding cake. From an beautiful wedding at Pilton Barn near Glastonbury, Somerset. The cake was made entirely by the Bride’s mother!
