Paris Wedding

In April we travelled to Paris, France to join in celebrating the Spring wedding of Javail and Prince. The weather had been kind to us as my Assistant, Natasha, and I had arrived the day before their wedding to enjoy some of the the delights of Paris. As well as ensuring we had walked the routes and checked out some great locations for their photography! We met the Bride & Groom and their daughter at the American Church in Paris, on the Quai d’Orsay, before the ceremony began. The church itself is a really beautiful and peaceful space with high vaulted ceilings and gorgeous stained glass windows. The stained glass was lit up beautifully as it was so sunny outside. After a very touching ceremony we all made our way out and onwards to La Pyramide Inversée at La Louvre, to begin a photographic adventure around Paris! Just a short car drive and then walk across the Seine over the Pont du Carrousel Bridge we began. After a few wedding photo-bomb moments with tourists, of course! It was ‘play time’ at the Cour Carrée du Louvre and everyone was working hard to help me get some great shots. We then headed off to Laduree on the Champs-Élysées for dinner and macaroons! Stopping briefly to use the top of their shiny car en-route for a shoes detail shot, we took the Paris Metro – the only way to travel in Paris! Using the opportunity to catch some photographs underground and on the train. The day finally ended as all good visits to Paris must, with an evening walk up the steps of the Esplanade du Trocadéro to watch the sparkling light show on the Eiffel Tower. Congratulations Javail & Prince! These are just the highlight photographs.
