Without a doubt, one of my favourite venues as a wedding photographer in the South West is Tunnels Beaches! And not just for the amazing BBQ wedding food (which I still dream about sometimes…). I’ve achieved a raft of international awards for my (now much copied) outdoor ‘first dance at sunset’ photograph, from an amazing summer wedding I captured as a Tunnels Beaches wedding photographer in Ilfracombe, Devon.

Tunnels Beaches wedding photos feature the rugged coast, dramatic skies and sunsets, and maybe even a little paddle if you are brave enough! Although I’m not sure I’ll ever get another wedding day swim photo like I did when I joined Matthew and Nathaniel for their wedding in Newquay, just being by the water is magical in itself!

The quality of light here is stunning, and the views will have your guests (and your photographer) excited from the moment they arrive. Couples getting married at Tunnels Beaches often have a connection to the sea, and hearing the waves on the shore during your first dance creates such a romantic atmosphere.
