Berwick Lodge Wedding
Berwick Lodge Wedding
This wedding at Berwick Lodge was the first time I’d ever been a ‘second shooter’ for another photographer, and what an amazing day we all had! I was so excited to join the awesome wedding photographer Mark Leonard for the day to help him photograph these lovely people! Joining Charlie in the morning as he got ready with his groomsmen at home in Bristol, they all jumped in to vintage Morris Minors and headed for the Holy Trinity Church in Westbury-on-Trym. Stopping for a quick pint at the Post Office Tavern, of course. Their ceremony was beautiful, with some of my personal favorite hymns. Though the vicars ‘photo ban’ left us sitting at the back of the Church, which we both jumped on as a challenge to see what we could achieve from that single perspective! I loved the awesome tall space inside the Church so went for a ‘big picture, little people’ shot of them both at the altar reflected downwards to really show of the height and organic structure of the building around them (In particular I hope Charlie loves this one as he’s an Architect!). With confetti blowing around them as they left the Church everyone then made their way to an awesome wedding reception at Berwick Lodge, where their guests enjoyed ‘Pimms-o-clock’ on the lawns. Here are a few little moments capturing my ‘second shooter’ story of their beautiful wedding day. The complete collection will be available from Mark in due course. Congratulations SJ & Charlie! xx
